I found it pretty hilarious that Mackie died several times in Derelict (Excuse me for not being Mr. Perfect Pilot ) and magically came back to life the next mission.

Sometimes the FS2 invulnerable command doesn't kick in quickly enough to save the ship. So that bug will probably persist.

Yeah have noticed that on TBP few times:

Hits-left
Alpha 2
20
set-invulnerable
Alpha 2

and then Hyperion fires when Alpha 2 is on 21, Booom! End of Alpha 2
