This dude probably doesn't know the can of worms he just opened, and whats worse, he stepped in a pile of **** to get to the can...

To pull such a scheme off, you would have to do several things:

Get rights to market the game from Interplay.
Get permission from modders and mission designers to use their intellectual property
Get Volition to make sure all mods are bug free and user friendly
Pay Royalties to all parties involved (Interplay, designers, modders)

I really dont think he knew just what he was saying...

By the way, i sent him an email to this effect, hopefully he will not spout lunacy on any other boards...
