So there are going to be 60 missions? does that mean there will be 30 missions for each side Ice Fire? Or am I not understanding the quote "Two sides. Two Choices. Whose side will you be on?"

Its kind of complex but it works basically like this. You start off on a single path that we're sort of calling Chapter 1 or Episode 1. During the course of that episode, we actually have a place where you get to choose a particular operation. I won't reveal what they are yet but you choose what to do. Once those few missions are completed your back on track for the ending of the first Chapter. At the very end of that chapter (about 15 missions played by now) you make the big choice. That choice determines the next 20 or so missions (im making some estimates because the exact numbers aren't quite set yet). Then you hit the end. Then you can replay, take the other operation in Chapter 1 and choose the other path.

So you can do the campaign twice and play about 10-15 missions that are the same, the rest being different. You will not get a full 60 missions in one shot.

Ok, that was what I was thinking. Should be quite interesting. Looking foward to the demo when it comes out. Really looking foward to the new ships, especially the Cap Ships....

Remember, BWO isn't too much about MODing and its alot more about really fun missions and really awesome story. We've got MODs to please hopefully, but story and missions, look out

That's what I never do...saying that the own product is really good and awesome...that is not up to you, but to the people who play it once it is released!

As long as you don't say it will be simply the BEST campaign made for Freespace 2 ever! (in my head this is called the John Romero syndrome (i know... a very bad joke))

For godsakes.....If I had lots of time I could write you an essay on why Inferno is better than BWO, why MT is better than BWO, why OTT is better than BWO, why DoE is better than BWO and why they aren't as well.

This isn't about ego at all. I'm proud of BWO, but I am involved and I try to support other campaigns as well. There are lots I don't know about many other campaigns and I'm sure if they are good that they will prove themselves with equal or better distinction.

I make campaigns because I want to. Not because I want recognition or becuase I want to brow beat someone elses work. I will be critical of everyones work but I will be more critical of my own but I will equally defend myself just as easily.

If I can't recognize my own weaknesses and strengths than I can't do what I want to here. BWO is story first and MODs are to support that. Kellan and I want to have all A+ missions and an equally good story. I feel that were achieving that and I said: "Remember, BWO isn't too much about MODing and its alot more about really fun missions and really awesome story."

If thats egotistical self promotion than we should all become hermits for fear of doing it again.

If I have no respect for this project, if I can't promote it, and if I can't say that I feel that I've done a good job then I shouldn't be working on it.

Yes, I saw the smilies in your post...but the message is no less clear.
