The first thing to try would to be to try downloading from every different site that offers the download.

The second thing to try would be to use a different download manager such as gozilla or getright to see if that makes a difference.

Third thing: try downloading without the download manager.

Fourth thing: get someone to ICQ/IM the file to you.

all right... thanks for the hints although it's very frustrating to download the file many times trying different ways if none works but maybe it is my last best hope for TBP. BTW I would still like to know what is causing this as I never have had any such errors.

The file changed would indicate that on the server, the file changed. . . which doesn't seem likely.

More likely, the server uses a download system that's unfriendly to download managers - nothing you can do about that except try another one. Search the forums, I know alternates have been posted here that aren't on the official list of mirrors.

Of course, option B is get someone to burn you a copy and send it via mail...

yeah, well actually my broblem is my very annoying friends... I have many friends with adsl and all but everybody just says: " I'm not going to download your stupid b5 things..." but I have to try to download it myself somehow... I would really love to play it... as I have understood it's the only way to get into b5 universe.

Well, I do have one friend who loves b5 too, but he can't download the file either...
