I'll take a wild stab in the dark and proclaim that the server is busy. Try again later.

Get the patch here.
tbp-core_1.1.exe and tbp-highres_1.1.exe are the files you want.
TBP-MP1.fs2 is my multi-player mission that should have come with the patch... So grab it as well, it's official.
Crusade.txt has the scripts for last two unfilmed Crusade episodes. (not TBP related)
spacemap2258.jpg is Babylon 5 spacemap, you got it in TBP core package.
Edit: Oh yeah, sorry to disappoint you all, there's no unreleased stuff!

Thanks fury!!
That link helped out greatly. Downloaded in no time.
Map really cleared up a lot of questions I used to have about the babylon 5 universe.
Can't say I'm crazy about the story though.

Now for the next problem.
How the hell do you install this thing.
I downloaded all the files. I started by doubleclicking on the corefile .exe and it asked me where to send it. It showed my download file which I know was wrong but I did it anyway to see if there where instructions in there but there was nothing. So I ask where and how do I install these files??

Don't get so testy, we haven't all been in here as long or spend as much daily time on computers as most of you do!! we just enjoy it when we can and sometimes we might not understand everything.
I did double click. I got a list of files, a disclaimer and 8 pages that included FAQs that had nothing to do with instalation and a remaining 4 or 5 pages of credits. did I not get something I should have??

Even when you are a "newbie" with computers, internet or whatever, you need to open your eyes!
When you doubleclick any of TBP packages, the first help page explains how to install the darn package!
Example, the first page that shows up after doubleclicking on the demo 1.1 patch package:
The Babylon Project mission developer patch
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
This patch will address some issues found from demo release
to aid the community of custom mission developers.
You must have both Freespace 2 and TBP core package installed.
Like the core package, the patch should be installed under the \data\ subdirectory
of Freespace 2.
So, for example, if you have Freespace 2 installed in the directory c:\fs2\,
you should install the patch to the directory c:\fs2\data\
Please click "Next" to continue in installing the patch,
and make sure you type the correct install directory.

But Mr. Fury has a point....and I don't think anyone on the team can figure out why we get asked so many questions about how to install when the instructions are pretty clearly layed out.
If they aren't clear, tell us so we can fix them.

What's clear for others may not be so clear for some. Hear is what I get when I double click on the tbp_core1.exe:
The Babylon Project CORE files
---------------------------------
use arrow keys to scroll down
This archive contains all essential files to play
THE BABYLON PROJECT .
You need a fresh install of the full version of Freespace 2.
If you have Freespace 2 already installed and don't wanna
loose your campaign progress, you should exit now and
make up backup of your \data folder.
When you are fed up playing TBP you can easilily remove
it via deleting the \data folder and replace it with
this backup.
Then when I click next it ask me what file I want to put it into and it is directing me to my own download files where all of the downloaded files are. Now some tell me from the bold text above how I am supposed to know where to install this information. Is this saying that all downloaded files need to go into the data folder?? If it is it's not really clear about it. Do I overwrite or delete original data folder in FS2??

Hrmm...point taken.
your /FreeSpace2 directory should suffice. I'll see about fixing it. Thanks for pointing it out. Like I said, if there are legitimate problems then point that out and we'll fix them.

Don't bother asking. They can't help you. They couldn't help me either.
Alpha may have found my solution though.

Ok... I'm new to this place as a member but I have been following things here from aside for some time now and decided to join now that I actually have something to ask. I don't have a broblem with installation (at least not yet) but I can't download the core file (haven't tried the others yet) everytime I try to get it it says in about 50% that "remote file changed". I have a modem connection so it's kinda annoying after I tried it for fifth time. I'm using a download program called "Download Mage". Can somebody who is wise enough (wiser then me) tell what this error message means and how do I avoid it?
