@Triggy: Sounds good to me... That's what I thought of when I read your discription. Still looking forward to it... Will surely be much fun!

Interestingly enough I run a 33.3 connection at home. It's Free though... I do most of my net stuff from the T1 on campus. Anything involving a download for instance.

More accurately.. it's the OTHER premier 3D animation program. (SoftImage|3D/|XSI being the other one.. though 3DSMAX is rapidly adding most of the behemothal animation features to its belt.. give it a year and it'll be up there too)

Softimage|3D and XSI - Star Wars episode 1, Jurassic Park and most of ILM's character work. 1% of computer games

Maya - Not Toy Story 2 - Pixar use their own proprietary animation software AFAIK - but lots of other stuff and most of ILM's particle explosions etc. Shrek almost definitely. 7% of computer games

3DSMAX - most modern TV work, some films such as Lost in Space, 90% of computer games.

Lightwave - Babylon 5 and most other early CG television work

And back on topic - FS2 is limited for ship count by the memory on your computer.

Mission is finished

It took two late nights up 'til 2 AM, including three hours of bug fixing and tweaking, but I've done it. Sent it to TS_Sheridan last night and it should be up soon.

Enjoy

p.s. Do you think that there are enough fighters involved? I have some leeway for adding a few more, and there are a few tricks that I haven't used yet.
