Hello to all,

i am new to the board and just wanted to ask a few simple questions. only 2 to start off

1, where can i buy freespace 2, i am in the uk and have not found it on any retailers websites.

2, are there any mods out there that allow you to fly the shadow battlecrab ships.

thats it, thansk to anyone out there who responds.

You can take den5 battle crab and do the table entries and fly it. but at the moment there is not MOD

Thanks for your comments, i hope in the future these guys consider it. i think the shadow ships we by far the star of the show. in the meantime i have to try and track down a copy of the game, not an easy task! thanks again

Tsk, tsk. People never learns, TheEXOnes battlecrab has also weapon tables and ship tables, which I would call pretty much a MOD. Especially since it include bunch of other ships

I don't think flying a battlecrab would be fun.

One shot and at least one enemy dead?

Wheres the challange? Flying a Spitfire or Vorlon figher is more interesting.

But what I love to fly are the good old Thunderbolts and Auroras

i completely agree with your point regarding the very poweful nature of the shadow ship rendering missions easy however i think you would just have to change the mission structures, the point of flyint the battlecrab would, i hope be to take on entire fleets on your own. i am also not saying that this should be the only ship to fly. of course cutting it in a starfury or any small fighter is the way to go. however once in a while i think it would be nice to cause some real large scale destruction.
