The Project
I've got to say that I'v finally downloaded the massive file, and im totally impressed with everything I see. What an amazing MOD, and congratulations to all involved.
FS2 has always been a cracking game, but im a lover of B5, and you guys have just made one of my favorite games even better!
Is there any new updates on progress for R3?

The next thing comming isn't R3.
There will be a patch for R2 first.

The next thing is indeed the patch for R2. It remains to be seen if there will be R3.
At least we should have R1 missions rebalanced in R2 patch. Right? RIGHT?! Ice? /me hits IceFire with Darkblade
Wake up.

hey guy,
About the Minbari Ships, shouldn't they use their stealth Technology??? just like in the show???
It might make it harder, but it would be realistic-ish.

No. You try and hunt down Nials which are untargetable. It is a decision based on gameplay balance.
Mission designers can always use sexps to make ships untargetable until the ships are close enough.

And even in the show, they could pick up the siluethe of the enemy.
To make them untargetable (like the Shivans in early FS1 missions) would be less "realistic" than how the TBP team made it.
And most likely its getting even harder when the Nials get real beams!

Yeh, nials are deadly enough now,not being able to target them would not be good.

If you're using the SCP you get Nials with real beams, and they're ludicrously dangerous.

Then I guess I don't have the latest version.
In the verion I played, they looked cool, but made no damage with beams.

use the version from the stickified TBP open 2 thread, and you'll get your ass handed over to you by the nials.
