Question Weapons problems.

Hi everyone, I've been a lurker here for quite some time and now I'm finally getting around to posting something. It’s a great Mod and I'm having a lot of fun with it but, I have recently started a campaign and I am having problems with one of the missions. It seems that in the first few minutes of the mission the weapons do not do any damage, sometimes the problem even lasts for the whole mission. The guns fire but the energy bolts just fly straight through the target. I was wondering if anyone else has experienced the same problems. I have tried making a new pilot and I've played around with the mission as much as I can in FRED but it doesn’t seem to help. Any help is appreciated

Sometimes if you put a lot of asteroids in a mission your shots will pass harmlessly through other ships. You can remedy this problem by reducing the number of asteroids in the mission. If the asteroid field looks too thin, you can always reduce its dimensions to give it more density.

Otherwise, the only other way I think this can happen is if the "no collide" tag is applied to an entry in the ships.tbl.
