Unhappy Why no music in Silent Threat missions?

Is it just my PC, or is there no music in some of the Silent Threat missions? The game just isn't right without the music to accompany the action...

I think's it your computer since I seem to remember music when I play ST, which hasn't been for a while admittedly.

A number of missions didn't have music. It sucks that way but thats how the missions came....alternatively I think some were defaulted to 'Darkside' which was "buggy" and removed in the 1.05/1.06 patch.

Darkside was awesome, even though it was a LITTLE buggy. I never installed the patcha, 'cause I liked Darkside so much.

What's "Darkside"? So, this patch would be the 1.5/1.6 patch for FreeSpace, right? So if I reinstalled FS, then Silent Threat, without applying any patches at all, it would be better?

Silent threat was not a well made sequel compared to the rest of the fs games a few missions didnt have music and the plot for some of the stuff was really stupid but then the over all plot kicked ass and led up to fs2! and answered a few questions but i dont think that fs ST was a well made game.

actually i never liked the ST missions... they were nothing on the main Great War campaign, but still... not that bad

I thought they had background music though... didn't they have voice-acting too?
