Argentina's crisis

Argentina domino effects: the crisis of Argentina affected all the surrounding countries, even Uruguay!. (Before considered like the southern Sweedland)
Dolar prices: We need of the dolar augment to revalorize our products. Before, everything was just imported.
Are we getting out or deeper of the hole: What do you think, i think we are getting out this crisis. We will revive. I hope so.

Did the Argentina's crisis affected in some way USA?

Artificially boosting monetary values to that of the American dollar was what I'd consider, financial suicide. I don't know alot about how all this market stuff works...but I do know that doing that was not a good idea and that a downfall was in the works.

Time to try and find a new way to deal with it. I'm not sure of the resource base, but in Canada, the undervalued Canadian Dollar (about 64 cents to 1.00 US dollar I think the last time I checked) works in our favour for tourism, and export markets to the US.

Not sure if it would work the same way down there...but there has to be options available.

0.64 Canadian to 1.00 USD? Who taught you math?

It's the other way around, bro: $0.64 USD to $1 Canadian.

I know my Math is horribly horribly weak...I freely admit that. But I don't see my error.

The news each night....Canadian Dollar is down to 64 (.25354545 whatever) cents to the American Dollar. So...I need to pay about what...$1.36 Canadian to equal the US dollar. Oui?
