Interface
was just thinking it would be cool for the TVWar project if we used the freespace 1 interface. By interface, I mean Campaign Room, Barracks, Tech Room, Command Briefing, Briefing, Options Menu, and so forth.
Well, I tryed, and even got the fs1 buttons to pop up. But the problem is they don't pop up in the correct spot. They pop up where the fs2 button was on the fs2 interface .pcx. I don't know how to fix this, but I could really use some help. Also, the same goes for the loading screen, the fs2 bar is longer than the fs1 graphics. Please help, when this thing is released, I want everything to be done.
Also, does anybody know how I can change where the text is displayed? I want to use the fs1 loadout screens.
I was told at HLP that since you guys from TBP have done a little fo this, that you might know. Thanks!

Well , the mainhall screen is a 256 color PCX file with any palette just like other interface
art . But there is another pic that defines the mouse sensitive regions of the main screen, and
this one has to have a very special palette. This
screen is pure black with white regions. But pay attention ! They have very special RGB values.
255,255,255 - exit
254,254,254 - Pilot ( Barracks )
253,253,253 - continue campaign
252,252,252 - Tech Room
251,251,251 - options
250,250,250 - campaign ( select active campaign )
Then you can make animated buttons for these . It's a pain in the ass , but they simply have to
have individual 256 color palettes. These animated buttons are ani files , and each frame is a
keyframe ( check the aniBuilder tool ! )
If you really want to make a new MainHall ask Skullar for advice

That was from a readme in the TBP package. Don`t know how useful or accurate it is but it should help until someone more knowledgable about these things comes along to help

Already finished the main hall. It was pretty self explanatory to do. I wanted new briefing screens and such.
