I think she means do you consider yourself jaded enough by THQ's and [V]'s more-or-less complete lack of support for their product, that you would'nt buy RF 2 if it came out on PC.

Am I right cece?

I'd prob buy RF 2 for PC as long as they supported it.
I think a public announcment that they will support RF 2, placed on these boards (or somewhere else), would be enough for many to return. B/c if THQ/[V] didn't follow through then they'd really be up ****'s creek.

Even though me personally would prob buy it reguardless. And yes, I said buy, like I bought the first one at Toy's R Us for 45 bucks (US).

ACTUALLY.....I just purchased a PS2.

First thing I'm gonna load is Summoner 2.


I guess what I mean is who has been around awhile and is a positive influence on the game? I could prob come up with about 30 names.

AODmeagain comes to mind first cause of that awesome collection of maps he hosts.

harmLE$$ aka [JD] Prof aka --{Dipsomatic}=I because he runs good servers and is co maker of the patch. --{Subz}=I aka [JD] SubZ aka [JD] Mr. A (y couldnt they just use 1 name!) The other patch maker. I cant think of any1else who deserves more credit 2 the game then them 2 and thats all there names just incase u didnt know

Any nice players should be added 2 this list.... but i cant think of a way 2 add myself

I'm a pre-emptive survivor. In fact, my survival skills are so l33+ I let my friends buy the games and I just play them.... on their PS2.

if you look up rf survivor in websters dictionary....
you will find..
A player who has played rf for some time, generally since the demo days. ONe who has not lost the faith and still believes in the game and its possibleities. One who stuck it through the dead perioud atter the demise of the VBB. One who did not throw in the towel after a shock wave rippeled the cummonity. A player who has always loved the game of rf and still does today regardless of the fact that volition didnt totally back of thier product.
A player who survived the dead period and in turn became a dedicated and a better player. A true RF survivor is not nescaarillu someone who loves the game today, but someone loved the game when i t came out and still loves it today.

my personal list would be':
cece
slayer-=TS=-
me of course
hunter-x-
and more but i cant think of them right now...

remember a true rf survivor was not one that gave up or left during the dead period after the vbb went down.

Sadly I'm disqualified during this "dead period". A kid at my school wrote an essay about racism and there was a huge explosion in my school. I'm his teacher so I was involved and I barely laid my hands on a game for 3 months

Though I do hope I bring a positive influence to the RF community, if not by skills which I lack then buy organization and help

I think I consider myself a survivor.

I have gave up on it numerous times only to come back. I quit playing for about a month only to come back and start slowly playing again on certain servers. I also quit updating my site only to come back and buy some hosting and totally redo my site. Now I am back to playing everyday. Although its not as fun as it was before because so much has been lost but I still enjoy myself playing and keeping my site up to date. I am currently giving my site yet again another new look.
