SFX mod replacement possibly in the works

I'm thinking of making a mod that will replace some of the sound effects in the game with better ones. Mainly explosion sfx (definitely the flak explosion sfx, that imo is one of the most annoying sound effects in the game - to me anyway -) some weapon/turret sfx, and possibly ships sounds such as the flyby sounds and the rumble of the capships. The mod will probably mostly (maybe all) use sounds from other various pc games.

Currently I have a few sounds that I'm going to try out with the game and see how they sound in-game.

If you have any sound effects (from games/the net/ or original) that you would like to contribute to the mod please e-mail me with the sfx files (in wave format) at redstar128@yahoo.com

And of course you wil be propably credited in the mod credits.

I changed the sounds of FS about 4 years ago. But then I came to realise that the original FS sounds are really good, so I reverted back. This is probably why no-one has found an interest in your mod and not bothered to reply.
