Help

Hi guys,
1st off WOW i never new there were so many of us, i only got into freespace after buying conflict: Freespace - Darkness Rising at a mnarket stall for a £1 wicked.

Anyway ive completed freespace1 - The great war and im onto Silent Threat, but i am so stuck.

ok ive seen the walk throughs by stikerkid(Chris Dodge) and they only goto Mission 6 or something, but im really stuck on the mission where i have to destroy the Hades.

So basically mission starts with 3 wings alpha, Beta and gamma attacking space station JotenHeim, in Beta Aquilae, which when youve nearly done some escape pods jettison towards the newly appearing Hades a MASSIVE Mothership, then u have to destroy the Hades, a nother wing of bombers(epsilon) wing arrives as does an Orff class cruiser with its defenders. But by the time Hades is down to 60 im usually the only thing left.
The fighters keep replenishing, and there is some interesting cargo at the beginning, which i dont know how relevant that is.

So i know youve probably done the mission and didnt need the description but im so stuck on it, why isnt there a walkthrough for silent threat anywhere except that partial one?

Can anyone help me please?

oh yeah what is Blackwater Ops?

ooh, it was a long time ago when I did this... I flew into the hades fighter bay (in the front section) and left a paperweight on the fire button, and had a cup of tea while Alpha one personally knocked down a destroyer with his primaries!

Actually, I think the last of (and most of, really) the silent threat missions were not written very well.

Blackwater Ops is a user made MOD for Freespace 2 (A tenner, at any game store - well worth it.) made by IceFire and a load of really committed fans, who make all sorts of great mods for you and I (The unskilled minions) to enjoy.

I found the mission easier when I flew a bomber.

I agree with pr011. The last mission isn`t written very well. Endless wings of hades soon get very boring.
