Hi,

Since you are the guys that made Awakening, Warzone and something else i can't quite remember.

This Campaign has to be good, it is a pity the others didn't have speech.

Having speech lets you concentrate on killing bad guys and watching your six.

It kinda ruins the game if there is no speech in the campaign, well for me it does.

Well, i read everything about this 'Blackwater Operations' and even watched the movie and damn, this has to be the best yet.

But i did notice MASSIVE slowdowns on Warzone Campaign, i have the following Spec:

ASUS A7M266 (Probably causing severe slowdown)
AMD Athlon 1.2Ghz (266Mhz)
256MB PC2100 (266Mhz)
ASUS V7100Pro (GeForce 2 MX-400 32MB)

I know it ain't the best setup, but it should be way beyond good enough to play at 1024x760x32 with everything set to highest.

But for some reason, it ain't.

I have to either play it on 1024x768x16 or 640x480x32

I wish i knew what was causing it.

But i plan to have this in 5 months max:

ASUS A7V333
AMD Athlon XP 1800+
512MB PC2100
GeForce 4 Ti 4400 128MB DDR

Now if this is too slow, then it is just my rotten luck. lol

I look forward to playing this campaign.

Personally, I don't notice much difference in a lot of games between 16bit and 32bit, aside from the dreadful increase in memory needed.

I played warzone on 32bit and it was fine. (P4 1.7ghz, GeForce 2, 128mb RAM)

What P4 Board do you recommend????

If i got a P4 anyway.

i have DDR, so i will most likely use that.

With a 32MB card, I'm not too surprised - it sounds like you're running out of VRAM. Upgrading to a 64MB video card should solve the problem nicely.

Myself, I use a 32MB Radeon-DDR with a 1GHz Athlon with only PC133 RAM, all on an Abit KT7 board, and I don't have any trouble whatsoever - provided I use 1024x768@16. For some reason, the old ATI drivers I'm using (for Win95B) don't let me use 32-bit properly.

Unless I load a mission with half a dozen Sathanas at close range. But anyone would have trouble with that kind of scenario.

With a 32MB card, I'm not too surprised - it sounds like you're running out of VRAM. Upgrading to a 64MB video card should solve the problem nicely.

I have an 8 mb card and I have no problems, also 450 p3, I do however have an unbelevable amount of loading time, it takes like 15 minutes to start up FS and load a mission

Well, if i get the AMD, i will have a GeForce 4 Ti 4400 128MB, if i get the INTEL, i will have a ATI Radeon 8500 64MB.

I built Warzone on a slower machine than the one you listed. The difference being I was also in 640x480 mode. Now I go high res however
