Everytime I try to install MSN Instant Messenger I get a SENS.DLL Illegal operaion error, and I can't seem to fix it, can anyone help me? thnx

Try re-downloading/installing the latest version of SENS.DLL - that might work.

NO! Don't get Trillian. It does make life simpler if you have AIM Yahoo, MSN and ICQ accounts but I've heard that it has spyware.

Trillian has no spyware if you pay attention during the install process. If you say "no I don't want X program" it has zero spyware.
Not to mention the usefulness of this program is absurd, I love Trillian.

I'll use Trillian... when they get rid of those global config files or at least put them in a .trillian directory under Documents and Settings...

Wait. I just reinstalled Trillian.
There's no spyware program piggybacked on it, and AdAware comes up clean.

Uhhhhh, so where'd you hear that again?

Does Trillian support the ICQ 2001+ method of storing your contacts on their servers (and only maintaining regular backups on the client machines)?
