Sorry for asking but, i need to know. I need infromation about the development of FS3

I want to know why nobody is developing Freespace 3. Somebody made the storyline? It had bad marketing? Why is Interplay so ...? WHY?!
PLease, answer me.

FS3 was never developed because after FS2, THQ bought Volition. and Intercrap never sold the license.
