Very impressive - keep it up! Maybe you could extend beam range to something like 300K instead of 30 for your next release, and kill the 'going out of defined mission area' thing which limits the size of the battle theatre.

That's not bad--works just fine for me (aside from that silly message in the HUD.) I guess I can make bigger tables now...

I downloaded it and although FRED2 works fine, FS2 crashes whenever I click the main campaign mission door or try to get into the mission tech room. I have lots of mods installed if that could have something to do with it...
EDIT: The tables are definitely the cause; I removed them and it worked perfectly.

with the orginal fred 2 i could only get 10 shivan juggernuts into a fred mission before it collasped, with this beta its up to 32! 32 massive shivan ships, and even trough it closes out freespace 2, it runs smothly with beta. big space battles...FINALY
