Ash, I dont make textures nor do I model for the mod that I am a part of. I coordinate stuff, get reference material and use my expertise of the show to help with ship design and accuracy of the models and textures. I also run and maintain the website that I have for our mod.

And as far as the jumpoints are concerned, Cln Pepper made a great one, nothing like the one you guys have, but for Homeworld it is probably the best one out there. We are still having difficulty getting sound into game as the tools to use are basically in their beta stages. The one Star Trek mod and the Star Wars New Rebellion mod for Homeworld have gotten sounds into game, but they have to be a certain length or the game crashes. Difficult to say the least. A guy called Mamboman is making a Homeworld Sound Studio application to make it easier, but it is taking much longer to get done than we all anticipated.

Would LOVE to see someone make a Space: Above and Beyond mod for Freespace 2 though. It would be difficult to do so though as reference to the ships is limited, but I have that reference if anyone is going to take a shot at it. Would love to beat up on a chig carrier with a Hammerhead. Ive got music, sounds and all necessary reference material to all the ships that were seen in the show too.

Ill post some more of my renders at some point.

And Lady, I find the Omega one of the coolest ships ever to be constructed for science fiction. My favorite also with the Saratoga a VERY close second.

B5 universe is bigger than SAAB universe. And FS2:SAAB could only cover spacebattles.

Well.

Well, there were 9 Chig vessels that were seen in the show. There were, including the Baccas, 12 ships shown for the UEF. Not to mention the 7 different classes of ISS series vessels. Plus, the never seen B290 Barracuda bomber, AT 72 Recon plane, LC 19 Landing ships and the SSRT suborbital short range transports that were statioined on the Toga. Plus, the Eisenhower was a different design of that than the Saratoga. It had 2 particle cannons on her. Tough to see in the show, but she had them. Nothing wrong with non canon ships either, such as a heavy cruiser ion cannon frigate design for the chigs, which the Homeworld mod has and look very cool.

Like I said, I have the reference material if anyone is interested. Would be cool just to be able to battle chig fighters and bombers while you are protecting the Saratoga with Hammerheads. Just a thought.

I might be able to persuade the mod team to let a developer to use our meshes too, but it looks like the meshes you guys make are a little more high poly than what we have.

the two engines are a bit too different for the same models to work in each.
