Game details question

I noticed the excellent "small" details that are present in the demo, such as the character's picture in the pilot profile being changed to have the B5 pilot jumpsuit.

Though things such as these are extremely minor and unimportant I was curious if there were plans to further such details in the final version of the TC, for example having the character be able to be promoted to higher ranks and the possibility of being awarded medals such as the Battle of the Line medal. Little things which would present a character's career following the course of different campaigns and such.

theoretically.. meaning that quite a bit of it is probably hard coded.

Medals isn't something I'd like to touch yet. Parts of that may be hard coded and the extra work on such a underused section isn't worth the time and effort.
