Hopefully gone are the days of a stagnant website. There is an update on the page today and there should be some either tommorow or the day after, depending on how much time I have to put some things together.

We can't really add stuff every week, but for a bit we'll be showing a few things to you. More screen shots coming soon as well!

And make sure you have a look at the redesign of the nodemap if you haven't already.

To shed a bit of light on that construction...it's not Vasudan Fleet Command, but a construction/repair pylon. And it's not one installation, but a couple of GVI Karnak A segments put together backwards.

However, we do have the Cairo and the Cheops in the campaign. I'm as anxious to have Vasudan installations as anyone else.

I've got the second half sitting here on my HD, almost done. I need to link in the various sections I've written more convincingly, then it will be done. And yes, I realise that it has taken longer than is...comprehensible.

Is the Cheops that half-asteroid, half-installation one? I always thought that was an excellent model, excelent idea, and executed very well. Kudos to the designer!

I'm not quite sure where to use the Cheops at the moment. Hopefully we can find a place, because it's cool, but I'm not sticking it in there for the hell of it.

I would include the Cheops as a Vasudan civillian research station. Why civillian, and why research? Well, the civvie part is from it being based on an asteroid, which would be cheaper than building up from nothing (I think...). The research part comes from that hole in the bottom - it's just asking to be called a high-energy field generator of some sort. Heck, Dark even put a firepoint there... MUHAHAHAH!!

Wow - I just checked how big that thing registers as: 1808/918/2050! That's a lot bigger than I had stuck in my mind....

The big hole on the bottom is for powerful beam cannon research - that's what Dark says. So yes, it is a research installation really...
