Help please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hiya everyone,

i need ya help here.

I've downloaded the core pack, thing is I'm a total pc goof, lol, and I don't know what to do next.

So can someone please PLEASE tell me what to do to get tnis freespace 2 babylon 5 thingy working, please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You just double click on the file and follow instructions.

First downloads all the other filepacks
Install them into your freespace2/data directory. ( The old campaign will be deleted!)

...and then, when you start up Freespace 2, hit the CAMPAIGNS button and choose the EA-Minbari War campaign from the list - otherwise, the game tries to start up the original Freespace 2 campaign.

more specifically for pc goof

remember where you instaled freespace 2

something like c:/games/freespace2 for example

well double click on the file you've downloaded, use the up and down arrows to read the small instructions screen, now click "next"

now on the next screen, write or browse for the folder you installed freespace 2 in, like above, at the end add "/data" this will then install the files into a folder called data inside of the freespace 2 main folder, now make sure "use stored paths" is ticked, and click extract, if a screen comes up asking if you want to over write an existing file, click "yes to all" or "all" or words to that effect.....the babylon project is now installing, then the window disappears the installation is complete, run freespace 2 and you'll see its installed, go to "campaign" on the main screen and select "earth minbari war demo" accept, you will loose your current campaign progress, to save it follow the instructions detailed on the beginning of the installation, ie copy the data folder before installation, and save a second version as data2 or something, then when your done playing the babylon project, delete the new data folder and rename "data2" back to "data"


there you go, o when you've changed the campaign to "earth minbari war demo" click on continue to start the game
