Thought I would post a bit of a heads up for everyone. A patch for the Earth Minbari War Demo (release 1) will be released very soon.

Full details of the patch will be posted on the website but the lionshares of the work involves more levels of detail (LODs) on the ships, proper dock points, and tweaks to the missions.

I'd rather not be too specific about when but it'll be very soon. Stay tuned.

the olympus has also been completely retextured, so has the nial including a new model, but im not sure if the nial is ready for release, so you might have to wait for the second release for that one.

it will provide the "finishing touches" to release 1

I've been meaning to ask.. what else is it that needs doing to the nial? I know Et1 and Shark and our other convertors do a wonderful job.. but what actually is it that they do to improve the conversion process? Is it a case of "if we tell you then we'll have to kill you.."?

I'm not being fascetious(sp?), I'm just curious: I've been meaning to ask and haven't yet.

At least the hyperion and the Nova don't displey their textures at LOD:s 1-3

I think he's noticing what the patch fixed. That is, he's like "at least it doesn't do this!" when that's what the patch is supposed to fix.

Uh, or whatever. When you have an OCed Thunderbird, you don't have slowdowns

Because this is my account and there is only limited amount of space, I may delete the files. I will announce it here if that happens.

Three reasons why they are having trouble:

1) Their ISP sucks (AOL and so forth)
2) They are trying it at peak hours and the server is busy
3) They refuse to listen to me and continue to attempt it at peak hours and then say that our file isn't there or is broken when infact its there, perfect, and ready to go, there is just 500 people in line ahead of them.

That should answer your questions

Basically IceFire's right
A 404 error doesn't mean it doesn't exist, a 404 error means your computer can't connect to it. 3D Downloads will prevent you from connecting to it if the server's full, and instead of giving you a 'server full' message, it gives you a 404.

!. My isp doesn't suck. I use mm2k dual isdn because it is the best around here. mm2k.net
2. This is at any time. 2am noon, 6am it doesn't matter
3. I have listened to you and I have had problems with 3d downloads for months
4. I know what th 404 means and I never said the file isn't there.
5. That was not a complaint that was a simple request

Not trying to be offensive but I really get mad when people think some of us don't know what we're talking about.
