We have all been blown away by the appearance of the mod, the models and effects look great. However, I have not seen anybody comment on the sound - which is outstanding. When a fighter breaks apart I almost duck from the satisfying crash of an explosion. When the energy mounts on the warships open fire, you feel as if you are in a battle. The music perfectly fits the mood as well. I think Blacksheep did most of the sound effects, and I know Skullar organized the voices so a special commendation to the unsung heroes. The graphics are also first-rate, but I wsnted to congratulate the sound guys who usually do not get much recognition. I can't wait to hear that Shadow scream when a battlecrab crosses my path, purple slicer beam tearing a hole in an Omega-class.

Yep, the sounds are awesome. And as a sidenote, the Battle of the Line part 1 is the best freespace 2 mission I have EVER seen. Ok, maybe the mission is a bit.... ummm...... goalless? but the atmosphere the atmoshpere..... YUM!

Yeah....I went for atmosphere and desperation on that mission. It sounds like that payed off.

Its not goal oriented at all....but I figured everyone would be gawking at the whole thing going on.

ahhh but you get yanked out of cambat =( i was happily killing off nials by the bucketload - even with veyr few wingmen left but it was only amtter of time before i had them finished then onto the sharlins hehehe =)
