Oh yeah....who figured it out? Oh Yeah!
Probably -1.0 -1.0 -1.0 is too dark. Probably putting one of those categories into the 0.1 or 0.2 area is a good idea....otherwise all detail is lost and its just too dark. But definately moody.

ambient lighting was in Freespace.... THESE PICTURES LACK AMBIENT Lighting and thats what makes them cool!
ambient lighting makes it seem like day-time, while in space, it should be very dark and shady... lowering ambient lighting or removing it, results in these dramatic atmospheres.
and no this hasnt been done before.
sweet work guys.

I applied a very deep blue setting that CptWhite has done up for the team to The Battle of the Line and it changes the mission alot. Light placement is always crucial (in this case, one sun). With a deep blue playing across the sides of the ships (note: a very deep almost black here) it gives the dark sides of the ships a very moody feel to them. More cinematic even.

I assume it's same as "Return to base"... Permission to end the mission... Yes? Perhaps? Maybe? ... Not?

I tested it and... how I can say it... atmosphere improved a lot!
It was a bit too dark sometimes, Ice should have already changed few settings...
