Well today was my first day in full time employment. As such i dont have much time for the mod anymore. I will still be around and i will still contribute, but the amount of work you see coming from me is going to be reduced drastically. The next 2 years are a very important time for me and so while i'll still be around my job and education have to take priority over the mod now my long summer vacation is over. I know everyone has appreciated the work ive done so i dont feel my effort has been in vain. My plans for now until the christmas period are as follows.

Retexture the Olympus (i think this will be a days work)

Texture the warlock ( around 2 months work on and off)

Make available high res version of textures should we release a "high res" pack. This will include ship textures and 512x512 planet backgrounds.

People come and go on mods, i just feel a bit fed up with the mod, so im winding down for a while, and im just not sure whether i will wind back up

yeah thats really sad and all, but what I wanna know is whether you taking a big break will impact the DEMO's release date much...

CptWhite....like I told you on ICQ, feel free to take a break, slow down and all that. We all went mega-crunch mode to make this demo come out as quickly as possible. In the meantime, we've made solid ground on other ships not in the demo and we can now concentrate on those. Skullar did an excellent job on the Vorchan, it needs a bit of tweaking but thats in good shape, Tomcat did the Sentri, we've got a Sunhawk in the works, an Omega, and so on. We've got more texturers and we've got some time to slow down.

So don't drop us completely. I know I still look forward to what you can do with the Warlock. If it looks half as good as the Ring Station, I will jump for joy
