Making a mod is completly different from making a game,you have to make a new and better engine than the one your trying to replace,then you need to desing new ships and weapons,and the tables take would take alot of time to create and program.Then theres alot of other crap needed to make it and you need a license for Interplay to make it(cost a lot of money).

This is a MOD about making the Babylon 5 Universe. The whole reason this team exists is more because of Babylon 5 than FreeSpace.

Now im a big FreeSpace fan and I've worked on and am working on new campaigns to further continue that story and new ones...but we don't as fans have the resources to make a whole new game...nor do I feel that as fans we could make it. I don't feel that I'm truly upto the task of writing an ending for the trilogy.

well when this project is fully complete with all ships and campaigns it would be like a whole new game.
and i think everyone here argees that the babylon project already looks alot better then freespace 2.

Is there going to be a multiplayer part? Or just campaign? Cuz you prolly could figure out how to use MODs in multi, although stats wouldn't register.

If i had to chose between Freespace and TBP I would chose TBP hands down.

P.S. Burinin down Sierra doesnt sound like such a bad idea, except id be in jail when TBP came out
