Question Weapons Development

When the GTVA was cut off from the Shivans and Sol for 32 years wouldn't you think when each came back together their weapons would be different? But they weren't; the Shivans came back with Beams and Flak weapons which is a British concept and one the Shivans probably would not have access to. So are the Sol ppl gonna have the same weaponery as the ppl they've been seperated from for 32 years?

Shrike, you ok? His Q is perfectly logical, if a bit on the bad grammar side of things...

And that's a good point, NightHammer. Unfortunately, it could be explained by the flak and beam weapons being a logical defensive development. Go figure.

What do BRITS have to do with anything? That's what doesn't make sense.

Personally, I only ever watch the end of a game as it is nearly always the most interesting part.
But I suppose that cricket is like Vegemite (noun: veg-e-might) you usually have to have it growing up to like it.

We've toned down Sol in the Beam weapons department. They prefer guided munitions over beam weaponry.

Torpedoes are better than beams. Is it possible to make Ships launch extremely large missiles that act like Torps?
