It's *suppose* to be the Excalibur Class.. but since the E was destroyed everyone calls it the Victory Class

There were two ships, the Victory and the Excalibur, which were built at the same time. So they called it the Victory class.

And the Excalibur hasn't been destroyed as far as I know

Actually the Victory was destroyed when Cpt Anderson rammed it into the Drak (Shadow)death cloud. The 2 ships were built at the same time. The name Excaliber class probably stuck because the Excaliber was the only one of its kind(it was told that the Drak destroyed the shipyard when they were retreating from Earth.

I suppose it was named victory class because it was capt Anderson sacrafice that destroyed the death cloud and he was commanding the Victory, a sort of tribute to him and the crew

Also, Victory class indicates that it will help the ISA win...

Its the most commonly accepted class name for those ships.

Victory was destroyed. Excalibur survived.

In response to your second question, Evan Chen did the music for ACTA and the short-lived Crusade series instead of B5's usual Chris Franke.

I appreciated the music style of Crusade and A Call To Arms. Most of you have no musical appreciation anyways so whatever.

Anyways, Evan Chens music was good...but Christopher Franke's was better. Even Season 1.

I'll admit I didn't like the music in ACTA very much (sometimes I got the music mixed up with sound effects in that movie), but the music for the credits for Crusade wasn't bad.

to me the music didn't fit in with the film, wasn't dramatic enough like in the other films cause when a battle is going on you would expect the music to be dramatic like eps "servered Dreams" & "endgame" where they're figthing earths defense grid, the music gets really intense and thats wot i like with b5, it adds a lot of feeling to the battles. Ok i get the idea for the naming of the Victory class destroyer, but at the end of ACTA Sheridian says that they'll start the destroyer agian but they will probably make a hell of a lot of changes to it, so why not call that one Victory and leave the Excab as it is one of a kind. Thats my opinion.

I don't think he said anything about making changes. He talked more about the symbolism...the Excalibur would return in the greatest hour of need and so on.
