I am having a slight problem again. I have set a cargo container to have a large special explosion. However when I "self-destruct" it in the events after 30 seconds. It doesn't blow up, it goes to 0 health and just spins on the spot sparking?!?!

Why doesn't it blow up with a massive shockwave?

Please help

There's a 'special-explosion' bug if you set the damage about 5000.

Don't you remember the special-explosion bug thread from the VBB? Quite a while back now, but there's an actual formula for it.

Is there anyway to get around it then?

I really need to get around it. Kind of important to the plot, and waiting for two minutes for it to blow up sort of ruins the suspense.

"Hey, look at that its gone down to 0 hull integrity spontaeously, I think it might blow up. Lets slowly amble out of here then."

Kind of not good plot!
