i think all ships should have a little name plate on the side of their warship just like the bastion.

I also think its very honourable of the GTVA to ressurect one of the greatest ships in the GTVA history.

i also reckon it was stupid of them to send one of the greatest ships in GTVA history to their deaths.Why couldn't they load a typhon with meson bombs and send it through the epsilon pegasi jump node? why use an orion?

If FS3 is ever made,this will be in it.Along with the Golgotha,Apocalypse,and a couple of other new-age greats

why don´t you use the edit post feature? That way you can prevent double posts and you don´t need to create a new post to add something. If there will be a FS3 (We all know that this is never gonna happen!!!), it would suck alot, if it would contain all those super-one-beam-kills-all-ships, then the player wouldn´t be involved (or would get killed in 2 seconds). If it´s gonna happen like this, then I don´t want an FS3. Let´s stay with FS2 and forget about FS3. Why do you want a FS3? I´m perfectly fine with FS1 and FS2. ´Nuff said.

FS3 wouldn't necessarily limit the player to flying measily fighters and bombers

How about cruisers,corvettes,and destroyers even?

FS3 might take on a whole new perpective of the Freespace game to the player.You can have heaps of commands to give to your ship and the wings,you can man a turret by yourself or leave it to the gunners.

The possibilites are endless

But,like you said,its never going to happen

I have to agree with that.

But if you don't want 1-beam-shot-kill-all type ships,why create the bastion MKII?

its veirtually invincible if it does half the things you say it can do.

Hey Slanker didnt creat the Bastion I did. Hehe I have plans that I drew up for a player ship that is almost the size of a cruiser and it will be fast with Beams. It will be Our Campaign The Dogs of War
