segeltuch help

i seem to be having trouble with the segeltuch program i tried just opening a pof file as a project then generating a pof file from it and the pof file then wouldn't open in the modelview program - what am i doing to it that amking it not work????

hmmmm well would you look at that it works in the game but not int h viewer weird - but nevermind - ontot hte next point though - how do you add turrets to things???????

You use FSMM2

segeltuch can't add turrets... all you can do is primary/secondary weapons, limited subsystems, texturing, and shields.

you cant change the vertices of models can you? i had my hope up that you could but i caouln't make them move as for fsmm2 i cant find a copy anywhere

and do you think there is any chance that in the future segeltuch will allow you to add turrets - i prefer a graphical interface

ok once more i call out for help - i've had a sentry gun with beam cannons and i've got one with sheilds but the one with sheilds wont shoot - why not - not even normal weapons

would i be right in thinking that sheild have to come before turrets etc becasue segeltuch doesn't know what to do with them?

argh there should be a book somewhere just telling you what which programs do which order they need to be done in etc - trying to work this out is going to take ages

Probably the change to the pof by adding the shield geometry is removing the turret data and paths.

you could use PCS to import the shields from the one model to the other

actualy I don't know were PCS is, it used to be at the UA site, but...

FSMM2 should be at Dnetthere should be a link to it in my ignored FSMM2 toutorial, somewere in several of the major forums, fred, HLP, somewere on this forum, but I'm to lazy to look for it.
