i trying to make some new models but i have no idea how to add turrets or gun mounts to capships and fighters - anyone able to help???????

You'll need a utility called FSMM2 or another one called POF Construction Suite (which is curretly not available).

So you finally decided to upload your FS2MM thingy.
But if FS2MM is obsolete, then why not write a tutoral for Pof Suite?

Even though it really can't be found anywhere.

they work almost identicaly, PCS just has a slightly diferent interface.
