ok ok, I just got freespace 2 and I love it. I have been playing it for a few weeks now and its time to test my metal in multiplayer. The thing is I can get in to a game. I read that I need update my DNS, forgive my ignorance but what the hell is that?

Yes, we do play FS2, but it takes more than an hour to get a reply sometimes. Personally, I don't play much FS2 multiplayer, so I don't have an answer, but check back in a day or so, and you'll probably have something.

Hmm, that sounds strange, I would think i would say update, but that would say that before you log in. What version do you have?
1.20 should be what you get if you dont it. Ill try to play FS2 multi later today if i get the chance

DNS ah?Well if it says to update your DNS then update it. IF updateing your DNS messes up your computer - complain to [V].

Anyway I'd ask [V] Technical support.

Am runing 1.2 at the mo. It just dont find any servers for me 8(. O and the pxo url that the game brings up dont work to (www.pxo.net) has that changed?

As for no servers showing up, um, I remember someone else had this problem...now if only I could remember what fixed it. I heard about this a long time ago on the FS2 forum at the VBB...

I thought that all of Volition's servers, including PXO went through a DNS change or something. I'd wait a few days until your ISP takes the change into effect.
