It is true that R2 in it's current state is buggy, because unfortunately we had to rush the release out. We are sorry about that.
But you can expect a small patch soonish which will update the missions if not anything else. Please report any problems so we can fix them.

Haven't had time to play any of the missions yet but have looked through the tech database, and am very pleased with what I see
Ready to get going on it tonight...

Hi All !
I'm just wondering, if I'm able to play the release 1 campaign with the new release 2 ...
Didn't find it anywhere
Are the voices of the R1 included in R2 ?
Great job guys
I'm very happy with the new release, although I'm stuck after the first mission. But as I hear, a fix is on the way

1) Not until we fix this issue. Sorry. But don't worry, Minbari War demo campaign needs rebalancing anyway.
2) Yes, except in the R1.1 > 2.0 patch. Patch is not recommended, download Full or Core only instead.

Quite pessimistic assumption, eh?

It's been a long time since I last was here. Great to see you are getting releases done unlike some person I know (...why are you looking at me...). Now just the pain downloading 200mb with isdn. Only ~5,5 hours.

I keep hearing.... We "had" to push this release out early?
Why did you have to do anything? Are you being paid?.... I sure hope its a good reason for the rush..
ATLEAST I KNOW THE GOOD FANS ARE WILLING TO WAIT FOR PERFECTION....
eh well..31 mins and well see the greatness unfold.. NO MORE BUDA 5 2.0 FOR ME!

OK, here it is in a nutshell why we had to release early:
Kazan is the man behind TBP R2 installer, and thus he is responsible for uploading the final packages.
Problem: He is moving back to home and losing his university broadband access. He has only 56k at home. His friend wouldn't have let Kazan to upload that much files with his broadband.
We could have done a better decision and release organization, but we are not perfect. Even Vorlons can make mistakes.

BTW, is there something wrong with the sunhawk/firehawk model since there is no table entry for it? The textures and the model are there, but the nothing in tables?

What?! It was not supposed to be there yet...
Reason: It needs Gunship AI and source code changes to make it's weapons work properly.

To be honest I don't think the Sunhawk was supposed to be in this release. My guess is that it slipped into the modelpack before final compilation and, well, you got an "unexpected present".
