please help us with smooth shading on sub objects (fs2) , pretty please dave

ok if you ever get around to reading this:

smooth shading on the main body works fine, but on sub objects it never appears correctly, know what the hell im talking about??

alledgely it sometimes works, alas this could be fluke in my opinion on some of the ships in the game on others the same error occurs that we are facing, i'd love to be able to to have smoothing both on and off in the same model, if not at least on and applied correctly....

Kazan, I don't believe you for a second. That whole thread just _smells_ of you showing your true colors and then realizing you screwed up a day later, and trying to put up a cover story. Its happened far too many times for me to believe it. Your little subtle dig "no matter _how_ you blah blah blah" is yet more evidence. The final proof will be how you explode once again after reading this.

But to clarify things - you fell _way_ below my radar ages ago with your immaturity. My whole reason for not acknowledging you in any way was maybe an attempt to demonstrating the whole "in real life, there are actual consequences" principle. Apparently that little life lesson whizzed right by you.

So, without further ado, I thank you for the amusing final thread (we all got a pretty hearty laugh out of it), and now the Kazan filter gets switched back on (I have a custom one that goes to 13. 13!)
