Well, maybe it was an "atack fleet", while the other fleet defended their homeworld and their borders, an atack fleet was either atacking (if there was a war) or being repaired, increased or just plain stading still...


Or maybe they were having a bar-b-q in hyperspace!!!!

Maybe Kosh had to much impact on the Vorlons, so that an enemy faction agreed to send the ships, because they knew the shadows would kill Kosh for it.

And maybe this "gate" was the possibility to start the war earlier than planed!

It could also be something we couldn't even imagine! Remember how G'Kar explained the FirstOnes to Kathrine Sakai (that thing with the ant)?

I just say there are more thing betreen space and hyperspace (and in JMS brain ) than the humand brain (of us other) could imagine!

For those who don't remember the ant:

Katherine Sakai was scanned by the Wlkers of Sigma 957. Guess where!
That shut down everything on the ship and she was going to crash into the planet. But she was rescued by two Narn Frazi sent by G'Kar. After a little talk back at B5 she asked him what the thing she had seen was.
G'Kar took a ant on his finger, and set it back on a plant.
Then he said to Katherine Sakai: "If another ant askes her what this was, she couldn't answer it." (bluntly translated).
"There are things in the Universe much older....."
