Wise perhaps; cliche definately.

I can wait too...I've been running a single LOD, no texture, Omega beta model for over a year. Its brutal testing any sort of battle because you get a couple of these guys at long range and the FPS just starts to drop.

I know that no-one wants an un-textured model. But with proper refs and the new program i dl'd i could use it.

There is one good thing to come out of the long development time for TBP and that is that the specs of PCs continue to get better so can cope with larger combats and more polys on screen. This generall makes for either better gameplay or for larger battles (that might not play as well but can be fun)

Good way of looking at it and also over time better techniques at texturing and modelling happen to I for one over the last month have gotten more familiar with texturing
