Lol, I meant the firgate in the war that was lost!!
I'm not even going to go there when it comes to FS classifications, as far as I'm concerned they're fine as they are, why annoy people?!
Anyway, FS isn't like the surface fleets today. I'm just saying the deployments of destroyers and their groups have a common with the carrier battlegroups we see today.

Putting hundreds of BF beams on anything and watching it slaughter a million ships is fun, but I wouldn't make a proper mission or model a ship like that.

I recently equipped two Atens with two BVas and the rest MjolnirBeams. The only things they could hit anything with were the BVas. And even funnier, I flew into the beams and they didn't kill me, even with the invincible cheat off.

i think Corvettes serve pretty well as escorts for larger convoys, so i dont feel that there really is a need for escort destroyers; especially considering the amount of time it takes to build a destroyer.

I agree, but still I`ll do my part with creating an assault corvette.
BTW Deimos are one of the best escort ships I suppose.
