It's being shown on eDonkey as an 800 MB file . That's the only way for people oversees to see it until either SciFi Uk or some other comapny decide to bring it over.

There's also a two-part copy with each part weighing in at about 463mb, which I have.

That one sounds like a better one for me all round. Where did you get it from?

<after reading an older post to the forum, and taking the poll... not trying to break the conversation, sorry>

As much potential as LotR had as a concept, the implementation was shoddy. A predictable storyline, VERY single-track characters that you honestly don't give a flip about, and the one thing that got me was the incredible overuse of "We live for the One, we die for the One..." This reminded me of the pastor at my mom's old church who would somehow incorporate the phrase "Praise Jesus" into every sentence that came out of his mouth. It lost all meaning, and became a little catch phrase that the writers appeared to use to fill up space. The Rangers always seemes to me in the series as Samauri... this movie made them look like a bunch of Navy Seals. Not bad of itself, but not the idyllic Rangers motif.

As far as the fingers-and-toes weapons interface goes, again... great concept, poor implementation. It simply looked stupid, and went beyond technical implausiblilty to just plain silly. Next thing you know, you navigate the ship by hopping on a virtual treadmill and running toward wherever you want to go. It also served to destroy the whole B-5 universe on a scale not seen in Sci-Fi since Star Trek 5.

Now, for the CGI... absolutely wonderful. Only redeeming quality this atrocity carried. I failed to catch the credit (if any) for what rendering engine was used, but it is of FAR superior quality, and doesn't have that "made on a Mac" feel to it that only worked in the series because it was just so damned neat for all us computer geeks to watch.

If they want something with a little more workability as a series, I say follow G'Kar on his post B-5 exploits.

<steps quietly off his little soapbox>

Yeah, I gathered that it would be, but whenever I do a search for it on eDonkey I come up with nothing. Is there an address I can go to which has the file information for both parts of the episode?
