Great Mod
Den5,
First of all, great mod with a decent adaptation of the official story line.
The only drawback would be the english which totally killed any storyline...hehe...but I managed to rewrite the whole script after I got too annoyed after the 2nd mission.
And playin the game in the edited version truly shows how good you intended this mod to be.
Also the subspace from FS2 is plainly put...horrid...maybe you can try setting it to full neb, with standard lightning, pattern = hyperspace, and range = 10-15, 000...this kinda gives a better effect.
And how bout some missles in that vega mission...it could use some...
The huge number of ships in each level was actually quite good... and if your comp is fast enough, it really puts you in the heat of the action.
Once again, great mod and with a bit of tinkering, it has the potential of exhibiting such a quality as to deserve the pl at TPD to adopt it as an official campaign of sorts...hehe (hope they do)

Some how I think a P4 2.4GHz @ 2.9GHz, 512MB pc3500 ddr, and a Radeon 9800 pro is a little more than enough power. It's the game itself. It doesn't handle that many ships too well.

Wait a pair of seconds before pressing <Alt-J>. Squall has a stock of time before a jump, after pressing <Alt-J>. Keep a nose of a fighter in a direction of a jump of the basic ship and that a number was not enemy fighters. In this mission, hyperengines of a fighter are included on short time. As soon as Squall will jump in hyperspace they are disconnected, and you remain with the enemy.

Well. If the majority thinks, that use of a nebula is better, let so will be. Though I have not noticed, that in a serial the ships disappeared in any nebula.

Make sure you've installed all custom files that was packed with ITB campaign .vp. The source of your problem could be the ships.tbl file in your Data\Tables folder of another campaign, EAS Janus maybe. Backup Data\Tables folder, then overwrite its contents with ITB .tbl files.

The campaign crashes when I try to start it. I don't think this is a problem with the campaign itself as about half of the missions included with R2 don't work either. It seems that no one else is having this problem. Could anyone help me?

Make sure you've created a new player for TBP. There could be problems with using the existing one from other mods or original FS2. Also, this could be your graphics card issue -- try to tweak drivers configuration. Nothing more to recommend.

Not yet. I've finished up to mission 22, but I just started a new job and I have a final next week in my assembly programming class. As such, I haven't had much time to finish translating. But don't worry, I'm trying to get at least 3-4 missions done per week, so I should be done before long.

Has anyone had problems with mission 17? It seems that FS2 doesn't like to set your own sub-systems to 0 and it screws up any following events. It won't send any messages or play any audio files after that happens. Any thoughts?

I have created a new player for the mod, and as for my graphics card, it worked with the original game, don't see why it wouldn't work with the mod. It may have something to do with me installing R2 over an existing R1 installation, but I no longer have the disc so I can't reinstall the entire game to install R2 correctly. Do you think that may be the problem?

Most likely that's the problem. R1 is overriding R2.
Just read the Release 2 Information - Check here before posting a question and you understand why.

No need to reinstall the whole of FS2. Rename your data folder to data-old. Make a new folder and call it data.
As long as the R2 .vp files are in main everything should start to work properly.
If that isn't good enough have a look in the technical section of my FAQ. It's been improved to help exactly this sort of problem.

So let me get this straight... I should backup the data folder, then install R2 again, and finally install the campaign, is that right?

Pretty much. Although you probably won't have to reinstall R2 cause the .vp files are probably in your main FS2 folder and won't be affected by you shuffling the data folder.
Have a look here for a list of the official .vp files. You'll probably find that you've got up to 5 extras with B5 somewhere in the name.
That's the R2 install and since it's not been moved you'll not need to renistall R2.

Nope, still doesn't work, however, I've noticed a couple of .vp files which aren't on that list (tangoA_fs2.vp and tangoB_fs2.vp) that are in my FS2 folder. Maybe they're the cause of my problem. I also have a b5-speech-1_1.vp, obviously an R1 file, in the FS2 folder as well. I'll try removing them from the folder.
Nope, didn't work.

The TangoA and TangoB files are part of the HotU download which means that you can't simply rename the data folder unfortunately.
When you said you'd lost the disks I assumed you had the full version of FS2 for which my advice would have worked.
If you'd mentioned that you were using the HotU version from the start I'd have solved the problem much quicker. I know that some people are worried about getting complained about for pirating the game but here in the FS2 community we actually reccomend that people get the HotU version if they don't have FS2
Anyway, have a look at the HotU and the Technical pages of my FAQ and then look at your Freespace2 folder. You'll notice that several of the .vp files you should have are the wrong size (They'll be much smaller since the HotU download uses dummy .vp files and places the files it does need in the data folder).
Also in the HotU section is a link to the FS2 FTP server. Visit that and download any .vp files you don't have. Once you've done that things should work using my earlier solution.

I didn't actually download the game from anywhere, my friend has a pirated version of FS2 on a CD, I had no idea if it was the same at the HotU version, but that's what I meant by no longer having the disk.
Anyway, I just tried getting the .vp files from the FTP server, and I couldn't do it. It opened a window for the FTP server that said "Getting contents of folder" for a while and then gave me an error message that said "The operation timed out."
Sorry if this is getting off-topic.
