The Nial already takes up a minimum of space in its design. The biggest consumers of deck space on a conventional aircraft carrier is the wings. Which engineers countered by having folding wings....which have been around pretty much since the beginning of carrier aviation with monoplane aircraft.
Those new carriers are just even more efficient.
