It seems that the red area is still largely untextured, picture is somewhat dark but I trust Ice's comment about hangar bay of sort.

It's a hanger bay alright. I remember seeing a shuttle flying into it in one of the episodes.

Suggestion: fade the white/green by using a gradient fill set to white, with opacity set to about 30%; or if you have the option, fill with solid white in a new layer and then play with the opacity/transparency.

Also, do the same with a medium gray to darken it just a bit, colors look too bright right now.

Just my 2 cents, feel free to ignore me like the blithering idiot that I am.

Its not bad for a first try, infact it is quite good. Remenber my first try? it was much worse.

You can always let sigma map the models and you then remake the textures on top of sigmas ones.
This would get yourself a lot of extra time for other things.
