Co-op is fun, but can cause all sorts of glitches, as anyone who's mucked around with Perfect Dark will know.
Scripted events that take place when the player is in a place where he/she shouldn't be able to see them take place may be forced to happen in front of the second player's eyes, or may not happen at all. That and development constraints, and increased demand on power.
Why does not including co-op make [V] greedy? And why are you so angry about it? If you think no game can be good without co-op, then buy something else.

I already said this game is going to be good either way, just that it could be great if V really wanted to make it so.

Todd says Co-Op aint in it, thats a great shame, but theres no point banging on about it, I think they realise that we really want it. Maybe RF3???

I doubt they will bother to put it in 3. They didn't ask for the funding for it when making rf2. As Todd said "we aren't going to ask for more time or money to add something we decided not to add in the first place. Yes, the idea was tossed around quite a bit. But ultimately, the decision was made not to do it."
