This is little odd, like somebody would read my mind.
I was thinking that I would make a tutorial for Fred2 for those who use's TBP mod, unless somebody offer's me a job.
And guess how happened? Well that tutorial has to wait sometime.
Me hate typos? I'm master of typos.

Lady Rose...
I finally got sometime to play the campaign.
I was amazed! Since the last time I downloaded your mission
pack (only 8 missions) you've gone a long way to this full
featured campaign.
I have a suggestion.
The campaign is fun, however, it still feels like running away
every single mission. Since I can say for most people who
played your campaign, the most entertaining of your campaign
is where the NOVA-X destroyed the Sharlin (Anyone who don't
agree?) you really should extend that part of the story.
Let's say the jump node is completely blockade by the Minbari,
so after the struggle with the Minabri ships at the station, the
station is detroyed, but the NOVA-X survived.
(Let NOV-X destroy the first Sharlin, then 2 more jumped in, be destroyed by Station explosion shockwave, the other rammed and shotdown by the collective force of NOVA-X the Janus and fighters. Since once you get close to the Sharlin, its anti-fighter
beams have no use at all, if the Sharlin's stationary, taking out
it's weapons under cap-ship support is no problem.)
Afterward, have the command make it seem like there is a hope
to defeat the Minbari after all, and brief us to protect NOVA-X
back to earth so EA can build a fleet of them. Then after a few
missions of running the blockade with NOVA-X, have it destroyed
in the sub-space. Since it was destroyed before it got through
the bloackade, it doesn't effect the whole of the storyline, it adds
more excitement and twist and turn.
furthermore we get to shoot down a lot more Sharlins and feel
like kicking ass for a little bit. (Just like how in free-space2, we
felt pretty good when we first see Colosus kicking Shivan ass.)
I think TBP really should get you in the team to put out campaigns
(you and pera make a great team) It will really make the TBP
supporter experience a lot richer.

Thanks for your praises Hansioux
For what comes to that running, didn't EA actually were in run?
I'm sorry about NOVA-X destruction of she was sctually Pera's idea. And like I said to Ashrak: I get good oppoturnity to finish Nova-X and its data in that mission, so I make it.
If I had make that mission longer EAS Janus would always been destroyed (tried and noticed) and that was unaccetable.
If Nova-X survives would have make too many question's like why doesn't they made more of them?
Thanks for last TBP notice, BTW our little team got new member Abersoch who made story for next campaign, thanks to him, next Tale of EAS Janus mayby will released soon after TBP next release or before.
Spoiler warning!
Nova-X makes comeback in next campaign.

I like the way that the Nova-X is destroyed from the point of view of storyline. It meant that the question of how the EA got the technology is raised, and disappoints the player that a good hope for them is destroyed so soon.
I have a possible suggestion for the final misssion - you could give a different debrief for if the player runs away instead of fighting (not failing the mission but saying that it's understandable).

Final mission? You mean the battle of the line? I thought that the player wasn't able to jump out before the Janus arrives?

We don't need a team of full of mission designers (because we already have enough), but I have a few ideas kicking around my head about how to support some of the campaigns and mission packs that do come out.
Stay tuned for developments.

oh yeah, one more thing...
I am not really sure if it is because of the mission design
or it's the models that are causing the problems, but in
you campaign... the ships are generally under-lite. It is
very hard to see anything and not very visually pleasing.
Sure one might argue that NOVA-X is suppose to be dark,
but in some levels even seeing Janus is pretty difficult.
You have to go through the "friendlys" and select Janus
to know where it is.
I don't recall having there types of problems in Freespace2.
If it is the problem of the models, perhaps the team should
give the ships a little more light, all the ships are pretty colorful
in the TV series.
If it is the levels that are causing the problem, maybe Lady Rose
can give it more lighting to make it more visually pleasing.

I really have no idea about implementing this in the mod but in the game all of the (EA) ships had lighting to illuminate themselves, especially for the sake of identification. What would be required to see this in Freespace 2?

You need to turn off the dynamic lighting - which makes the ships react to whatever light there is (or isn't) in the area. Go into OPTIONS and select DETAIL, then turn the lighting option down as low as you can. When you next play the game, the ships will be fully illuminated.

So in other words, the ships were supposed to be dark, it was done to add atmosphere to the missions.

You can put a bright white where you might want lights to be but they won't "glow". I know the GTD Orion and GTI Acadia have these "bright lights" on them, but they look dim on my GeForce 2 whereas they looked "illuminated" on my Voodoo 3. I'd post screenshots if I could. Regardless, they're still not a true light source.

Those are the ND tags on the tables and we've done that to whatever ships we could.
If the Nova-X is the same model as the regular Nova, then you should be able to see it. There may not have been a sun in the mission....or it could have been an ambient color that was very dark.
In any case, you should be able to see all of our ships. Another solution is to have alot of background nebulas to try and contrast a dark side of the ship with a nebula.

Well I quess that it is my nice little idea in some missions to put Dark sun over there to make the background little more darker and it is there with purpose.

Try the colored ambient suns rather than dark. Use dark if you want a really dark mood and alot of nebulas around to back it up.
