Thats silly. Drakh probably controlled the clouds when the Shadows were around.

No, the structure was there before. Its no different than when the Shadows were in town. It was just that nothing previous to the Excalibur could detect anything inside.

I just love the complete wild speculation that goes on in these types of discusion...but dont the enterprise have a "bubble" sheild - wwheres the gap, and i thought the enterprises phasers were pretty damn accurate......well thats my opinion.....just like almost everythign in these forums....its opinion and not fact !

just one other point the fighters longest range with the trebuchet is 4km the enterprise under 40,000km is close range to iniate combat - the enterprise beleives in hitting froma distance aswell as overwhelming superiority in weapons and sheilds

and yes incase you hadn't noticed i'ma star trek fan

You come to a B5/FS2 forum, and post about how a ST ship is superior

What kind of a masochist are you?

Anyway, I was never that impressed with the Enterprise. It seemed just plain weak... not to mention it looks like crap

Umm... I hope you realise those ships aren't real. They can't blow out of existance

The Voyager is a pretty good looking ship. But most other ST ships look like crap to me. Totally inefficient hull designs... and they all look the same to me. Come on! Don't those people have ANY imagination?

Now, you'll have to explain this for me. Keep in mind, I've never really cared much for Star Trek, and so I don't know the ship's names.

I don't know if this information is canon or not.

If the Shadows didn't used supporting structure on death clouds, how they can be destroyed when it is just a cloud?

At least Death Star's super laser can't target these few structures that are inside of the cloud

Okay.... you can't just assume that everyone's seen all the Star Trek series and movies from start to end... I for one have never even seen ST:First Contact. I've only seen about two of the movies, and because they were both crap, and so were all the series, I never really bothered.

hihi
ST ships are such thing like ...
ok! My ship is 3m large and can destroy a planet with one volley of it's secundary gun!
And with one Quantum-Crap-Torpedo, it can destroy a whole Armada!
And it got some shields, which can easily withstand multiple death star main beam hits! lol
wow! What a ship! - undefeatable!
muahahahahahaha
ok .. the Borg Cubes are cool!
B5, at least, tries to stay somehow realistic! (in Sci-Fi ways! )

We also have to take into silly accounts like witch universe we will be in
either the
Freespace
Startrek

and either way the bloody enterprise would be cut to shreds... when enterprise engages and destrrroyes some orions whatever simply some bombers jumps in nukes the enterprise with EMP missiles StilettosII all of enterprises subsystems engines phasers gone nada sit and its like shooting the enterprise in a barrel

and alltogheter with the lampreys and circe would cut down the enterprises shields and leech all its weapon powers etc etc

Never bring up STartrik here again!!!

or ill send Kirk after yeah

We can assume that because Star Trek ships rely so heavily on shields, their hull is pretty crappy.
When Enterprise and Reliant shot each other with phasers in one movie (can't remember the name), the damage against the hull wasn't bad (they only knew exactly where to shoot to cripple the Enterprise). And FS (and B5) ships are better armored, so the damage from phasers against Orion is (at best) same when fired at bare hull of the Enterprise.

Howewer, the photon torpedos do some real damage against hull, so these could pose some danger.
Unless flak cannons and AAA beams neutralize them before inpact...

Oh, and Kirk would be in trouble when dozens of helios torpedos would be impacting in all sides...

Helios are far too slow to hit ST ships, and even novice pilot won't be that stupid and flyes directly to Helios bombs. even ST pilot

anyone who things bombers could get anywhere near the enterprise are being stupid - the enterprise has amazing firepower - the phaser can drill down thousands of meters in seconds intoa planets crust photon torps are the ulimate nukes well until you come up aginst quantum torps but they work differently

its fast and manuearvable - freespace ships would be out classed all of them

the enterprise could even beam a waepon into enemy ships and blow them up from the inside or transport bomber pilots into space to suck vaccum
