I disagree with BlackFulcrum; I think "Nemesis" sounds too overtly-dramatic, cheesy. It sounds like the namer went to too much trouble to make it sound way cool. It doesn't strike me as the type of name a military power would really give to a class of vessel. It's like all those Star Wars novels -- none of their titles mean a damn thing, they just have to include the phrase "dark," "evil," "shadow," or "twilight" in the title so it looks way cool (and therefore comes across sounding very cheesy).
I liked Zerberbuth's idea, the GTDn Vindicator. That name would be very appropriate, considering the reasons for designing this class of ship.
Incidentally, BlackFulcrum: wasn't the biggest battleship ever built the Bizmark? The Yamato was just the flagship of the Japanese fleet during WW2, wasn't it? Aside from a halfway decent 70's cartoon, the Yamato wasn't all that remarkable.
