No wonder you have misguided opinions for beliving that kind of crap. If you want an Islamic dictatorship then go east of Iraq. Saddam's regieme is more of a cross between chauvinism and stalinism tham fundamentalism. It's probably the least Islamic state in the whole region. Hell, He's less of a muslim that Bush is a Christian. It's a fact that there's less Anti-Westernism in Iraq that Saudi Arabia, or Pakistan.

and this is a bad thing? I for one am tired of being there bitch.

You're not their "bitch", you're the "bitch" of about 100 very rich Saudis, the rest don't have any say in haw things go.

Anyways, do you have any idea how much money it takes to run an army, a country, and develop nuclear capabilities. It's more money than you or I will probably ever see in our lifetimes. With all the sanctions on Iraq since the Gulf War, Saddam can't be making much new money and he can't last off his gold reserves forever.

News flash for you: Iraq bought literaly tons of uraniun from my contry and Brazil
in the 80's and the ispectors never got their hands on it. The only thing that keeps them from having nukes by now is that the enriching process is very slow and saddam has to do it bit by bit in clandestine facilities or have others do it for him.

My countries goverment knows where saddam might have it as we built half his palaces anexes and other facilities that escaped desert storm and the inspectors. Blue prints were sent recently over to the US inteligence organisations.

Did Saddam even have a stock of chemical weapons before then? I know he launched some nerve gas during the war, but if I remember right, most of it wasn't that potent.

Contradicted yourself...
Remenber the curds on north of iraq?

Hey yeah, just only 65%-70% in the planet have nuclear weapons. What a living hell.

I'm starting to see a polarization here....we're gearing up for some sort of climax. Iraq is persuing WMD's, al Qaeda is ready to launch new attacks on the continent, and North Korea has a nuclear weapons program. All three have been discussed before as being a separate potential hotspot...I don't think anyone would have imagined that all three would be brought into sudden clarity within the course of a year (or two).

To the strategists...this is a strategic nightmare.

France got the bomb, but don't you grieve,
'Cause they're on our side (I believe).
China got the bomb, but have no fears,
They can't wipe us out for at least five years.
Who's next?

Then Indonesia claimed that they
Were gonna get one any day.
South Africa wants two, that's right:
One for the black and one for the white.
Who's next?

Egypt's gonna get one too,
Just to use on you know who.
So Israel's getting tense.
Wants one in self defense.
"The Lord's our shepherd," says the psalm,
But just in case, we better get a bomb.
Who's next?

Luxembourg is next to go,
And (who knows?) maybe Monaco.
We'll try to stay serene and calm
When Alabama gets the bomb.
Who's next?
Who's next?!

I did hear an amusing song (on the radio) about why Bush jr wants to go to war, can't remember all the words but some were:

'He was mean to my daddy!
he called my pa rude names'

He made my daddy cry,
and for that at least the middle east deserves to fry,

He's got weapons of mass destructions
can I prove it? Yes I can,
'cos my daddy sold them to him when he was fighting with Iran.

The gaps indicate I could remember those parts, so thats why it doesn't a) flow very well and b) looks slightly odd. It was very amusing, at least I thought so- you decide for your selves. Clearly its not a pro-war song.

...

Makes me think of the song: "Christmas at ground Zero"...

Also: "Bam Bam Iraq". Both by Weird Al Yankovic, I believe.

We know that Saddam isn't "in the Hilton across the street". That's why we have the SAS and other spec. ops teams. The good ones infiltrate the target's location over a period of several years and slowly climb up the ranks until they have a good shot at the target and the target's advisors and close associates.
When the time is right (popular uprising, imminent use of NBC weapons, the correct moment to impede progress or to coincide with invasion), the team will strike and remove the targets from power (usually with a bullet to the brain or garotte to the throat) and escape.
That's why he isn't dead yet (or maybe he is, in secret?) - the special operations team are still working their way up the ranks.
Finally, there is a simple solution to the aid being spent on nukes - give him tins of food instead of money. That can't be used for weapons, unless.........WATCH OUT!!! CORNED BEEF FROM ABOVE!!!!!!
(collapses in a hail of baked beans)
