Um, considering you wanted Victory-class beams on a Nial, it's not in yours either!

actually it was for the T-bolt but a Nial could make good use of it.

Of cours they would both have to be fitted with Vorlon class energy generators.

I read somwhere that some Thunderbolts have a light Particle-beam in the nose (but I don't remember where I read this).
The beam can only fire a short burst and has to recharge long (sounds like a railgun to me). Will you implement this into TBP?

-Norbert-, that would make it quite unbalanced. Thunderbolt is very effective fighter.

For AI reasons, Thunderbolt's gatling 45mm gun energy deserves will deplete very slowly. So there you have very powerful fighter on it's own right.

This is now, later we may have other solutions.
Poor AI, while effective it still could use some modifications.

And only B5Tech and perhaps other sites that has copied their information from B5Tech says TB does have x-ray laser or something. There is no canon proof of this at all.

As far as I know....that is pure @$#%. Made up by the guy at B5Tech. Nowhere have we seen or have been mentioned the Thunderbolt having anything other than missiles and a Gatling pulse cannon.

I'd be pretty happy with the Thunderbolts performance too. In Into the Fire, two Thunderbolts lay the smack down on a Vorlon fighter in the corner of the screen. Thats pretty impressive....I'm sure the Vorlon fighter was damaged...but they whalloped it!

In Thirdspace we unfortunately never saw a tb hitting an alien fighter (they were only shown, when they started from B5).
If TBs could destroy those ships, that would be a very good proof of their abilities, as the Aurora seemed to make no damage to their shields.

I doubt that Thunderbolts could of destroy one of those thirdspace alien fighters? It took a Whitestar to punch a hole through that shield quite a time...

...Ending up that both of 'em exploded.

Thunderbolt wouldn't have a chance against Thirdspace alien fighter on fair fight.
